Durawall retaining walls used to terrace a sloping block

Wavell heights is a great suburb close to the CBD and like all inner city suburbs is seeing some beautiful new modern homes being constructed. Terracing a sloping block is a gentler way to create flat usable areas without the cost and council issues of a massive retaining wall . A gravel pit on the lower terrace was created to trap storm water. Having smaller walls embraced the outlook from the pool deck as well as allowing the owner easy access to the park and bikeway area behind.
