Knock down rebuild site with new retaining wall

A knock down rebuild in Gordon Park we recently completed.  A really nice block that overlooked a nature reserve at the rear. It sloped away from the road and the client needed to level up the rear of the block for a level area incorporating the existing pool and terrace.

There was a sewer line just inside the boundary that posed a challenge. Per regulation, the retaining wall had to be set-back off the sewer line which required the pipe to be located and surveyed so the retaining wall was constructed in the correct position and the depth of the piers were below the sewer level.

A decent wall at its highest point at 2.6m high. A collaboration with the Designer, Urban Utilities and our Engineer to come up with a solution for the client to maximise the usable area of the block.
