From plan to completion, a recent project in Holland park. This beautiful home is being built at the rear of a very sloping block. Tiered walls were required to be built in 2 stages. We started at the bottom of the block to excavate and bench the area so we had a safe and workable platform to construct the lower wall. After the bottom wall was completed and backfilled we repeated the process for the top wall. The walls were engineered to ensure that the top wall had no impact on the bottom wall. Deeper footings were employed to ensure the walls were also founded in solid natural ground. Only thing left now is for the landscapers to complete their works.
